I’m going back out on the mission field again! I’m doing another trip with AIM. This is their alumni 10/40 trip. Everyone on this trip has already done a trip with AIM before whether that’s the race like I did or AIM’s gap year program. In case you don’t know, the 10/40 window is between 10 degrees north and 40 degrees north latitude. There are more people living inside the 10/40 window than outside it and countries in it only have a small minority of Christians. The people in the 10/40 window are predominantly Muslim, Hindu, or Buddhist.

The 10/40 window was supposed to be the focus of my race but most of the countries we went to weren’t in it because most countries in it were still closed at the time because of covid.

This trip is supposed to be a lot more autonomous than the race. Half of my race was ATL, or ask the Lord, where we go into a country and go wherever and do whatever we think God is telling us to do. I think that is the goal with this trip. I’m pretty sure it will be almost all ATL with a very strong focus on evangelism. The race is meant to be a launching point for people’s faith wherever they go next. Since everyone on this already had that launching off point the idea for this trip is to hit the ground running with evangelism in these countries that have very little knowledge of Christ.

I leave Michigan to go back to Gainesville, Georgia (where I currently am) January 4th. We will be doing a month of intense cultural training before we head overseas at the end of January. Then we will be gone until the end of May. As of right now, the countries we are going to are Kyrgyzstan, Egypt, and Jordan (which I already went to on my race). All of these countries are at least 90% Muslim. (Things could change and we might end up going to different countries like my race, you never know what will happen).

I don’t think God is calling me to the 10/40 window long-term, but I could be wrong. I think He has called me to go on this trip to grow me in evangelism. People who have read some of my other blogs might know that it’s not my strong suit. I did grow a lot in it on the race and I’m so glad God used me to share the gospel with the people I did. But I want to be able to grow in evangelism so I can share the gospel more and without fear and just be listening to what God is telling me that the person in front of me needs to hear. I want to see people saved and the kingdom of God grow bigger.

Since I am going back out I do need to fundraise again. I need to raise a total of $9,500 with $9,300 left at the time I’m writing this. If everyone reading this would prayerfully consider giving to help me get overseas that would be a huge blessing. If you pray about it and you can’t or feel you shouldn’t give, I just ask that you keep me in your prayers as I go out. Prayer that I get fully funded and that I go out and share boldy the good news of Jesus Christ. Also, if you are willing could you please share this blog with other people so they might be able to support as well.

“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

2 Corinthians 9:7 ESV

“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'”

Matthew 28:18?-?20 ESV
